Seal impression: Collegiate
Enthroned in state below a tester canopy, Elizabeth I crowned and holding a sceptre fleury, her feet resting upon a platform diapered with cinquefoils. Above, the inscription: REG ELIZABETH. In field, to either side, an elegant scroll of foliage. In base, on an arched arcade, a shield: a brazen-nose, in allusion to Brasenose College, Oxford.
