Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
This turned chair has always been known as the ‘Justice’s Chair’ and comes from Tregib, a mansion house in the Tywi valley. It is an imposing chair, and most likely once belonged to Morgan ap Harry of Tregib who was appointed a justice of the peace in 1581 and later Sherieff of Carmartheshire in 1602.
