Cup, cover and stand, creamy white bone china body; stand with a shallow shaped foot rim and recessed centre, the everted rim moulded with `Sevres - style' scrolls and wreaths, the cup standing on a shallow trumpet foot, the globular body similarly moulded below the rim, two curving linked C-scroll handles, pyramidal cover rising to a collared pinecone finial; elaborate enamel decoration, a salmon pink ground stippled with purple, the stand painted with landscapes within the mouldings, and the centre with gilt gryphon's head erased and the monogram D.W. on a puce ground, stippled and wreathed in purple, the rim and mouldings gilt, the cover similarly painted with landscapes, the cup with a puce ground within the mouldings, stippled in purple and painted with a polychrome bunch of flowers, the interior and handles gilded, the foot gilded and tooled.
