Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Bowl, white translucent paste and lustrous glaze,`pin-pricked', substantial moulded foot, shallow spreading sides, waved rim of alternating large and small lobes; the foot ringed with dark green band; painted on one side with a polychrome view of a square three bay house and a farmyard, flanked by pine trees and with a hill behind, in an oval gilt cartouche edged with beads and trefoils; the other side bears a large farmyard scene with cattle, sheep and poultry in the foreground and a barn and haystack to right; these are seperated by large gilt foliate scrolls; the rim gilded with a pendant trail of green and gold tulips on the interior.
