Figure group of George and Eliza Harris and infant, white earthenware with a blue tinted crackle glaze, black firing spots in folds, on an egg shaped base inscribed in gilt script on a narrow undulating plaque with pointed ends. Figures largely white and gilt, man on left in contemporary dress of gilt striped trousers, white jacket and loose white shirt, flesh coloured face, black hair, left arm bent and holding a broad brimmed straw hat with a gilt tie round, right arm round woman's neck. Woman on right in a full skirt, decorated with gilt spots, and wearing an apron with gilt sprigging, tight waisted skirted bodice, black hair parted in the middle, holding a small girl on her left arm, and supporting the child's chest with her right arm. Child in ankle strap black shoes, bare legs, and knee length white frock and jacket, black hair, held in a sitting position by the woman and resting against the man, with her right arm bent across the woman's chest.
