Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Fragment of a medieval ceramic floor tile.
The provenance of the tile is unknown but the design is corresponds closely to Lewis Group 10, no. 60, recoreded from Whitland Abbey: Inlaid. Floriated cross within a circle, its arms terminating in fleur-de-lys outside it.
Similar to BM design 2495 (found at Maxstoke Priory).
