Jug
Jug, stoneware, standing on a straight-sided moulded foot-rim, bulbous body moulded with high reliefs with to one side of the body three putti riding upon a goat, and to the other side a naked male figure and two satyrs, the shoulder moulded with vine leaves and graoes, raised neck with lobed waved lip-rim, wide spout, rustic handle modelled in the form of a twisted branch with raised moulded leaves; covered with a salt-glaze which is mottled to brown in the upper half of the body. The leg of one of the moulded putti broken off, a narrow crack to one side of the body.
