Roman samian bowl
A samian bowl sherd of form Dr37. Thick orange/red ware with a brownish orange/red slip with a good gloss where it is well preserved. The base is freestyle with no marked basal line. A small stag is running right (Oswald 1732). Central Gaulish and Antonine in date.
