Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
This vessel has a reddish brown oxidised surface. It has a simple rim a weak shoulder and a pronounced collar. The decoration on the collar comprises cord impressed horizontal and parallel lines at top and base, separated by a herringbone design (also cord impressed) in the centre. Below the collar, a single cord impressed herringbone design is separated from a double cord impressed herringbone pattern by a border of two horizontal cord impressed lines. Most of the base of the vessel has survived, however, over two thirds of the upper body and rim is reconstructed. Longworth (1984) Primaryy Series, Northwestern Style, Form IIIb
