Haynes, Dillwyn & Co., Cambrian Pottery (1802 - 1810)
Honey pot and cover, skep beehive form, pearl-glazed earthenware, deep saucer with no footring, high ribbed dome the lower half integral to saucer and the upper half detachable, spherical finial. Exterior painted in mid-brown enamels, and details in dark brown enamel - a running border of scrolls and flowers to saucer, a bee in small recessed semi-circle to base of dome, strokes to hive ribbing, radiating strokes to finial, brown enamel rim to saucer.
