Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Gemstone of dark green with inclusions of red jasper. As a heliotrope, the naturally occuring red jasper is utilized as smoke rising from the sacred fire. The figure of Sol is offset to the left, allowing for the use of the jasper. Sol's left arm is outstretched over the fire and he is holding a whip in his left hand. Stone is broken at the top and Sol's head is missing.
