Jug
Jug, pale cream-coloured earthenware with a soft greenish-yellow tinge to the glaze, rounded spreading waisted foot, bulbous body, engine-turned banding around the lower body and exterior lip-rim, plain beak spout, grooved loop handle; the exterior body decorated with combed and marbled slip in shades of brown, yellow and cream, the banding and the spout overpainted with washes of green enamel. The base broken, a long crack to the body, chips to the spout and handle.
