Big Pit Colliery, film negative
General view of the area behind the winding house at Big Pit Colliery, Blaenavon, showing a horse and tram used for moving materials on the surface. Horse haulage was still used on the surface and underground at Big Pit in 1967. The canteen block can be seen on the higher ground on the left.
