Burberry polo shirt. One of the last shirts to be made at the Burberry factory in Treorchy before it closed in 2007. In September 2006, Burberry Limited announced the closure of its factory in Treorchy (which made polo shirts for the company) to switch production to China. Workers, politicians and celebrities mounted a campaign to reverse the decision, but the plant finally closed in March 2007. Over 300 jobs were lost.

Three pearlescent dark-grey plastic buttons at neck opening. Machine-knit fabric. Seam allowances finished with overlocking. A spare button is attached to the care label sewn into the proper left side seam.
