Plain green metal helmet with fabric strip weaving in and out of the base. Inside, this strip loops round broader strips which are tied together with string at the crown of the helmet, and are also stitiched to a piece of leather running round the inside. Issued during Second World War. Formerly of Gwent Police Museum collection
