Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
This brooch has a prominent head stud, once enamelled, with below, alternating panels of blue and (unknown colour) enamel, separated by bronze walls. The spring is secured by means of a rearward lug at the back of the head which secures the axial bar. The external chord passing through a pierced lug at the head. The slightly tapering bow terminates in transverse mouldings above a pronounced moulded foot. The pin is missing.
