A terra nigra bowl sherd imitating samian form Dr37. It has an upper rouletted zone with dot and festoon decoration where the band of the ovolo would occur on a true Dr37 samian bowl. The main decorative panel appears to have comprised slightly diagonal lines in groups of 3 or 4. The surface is highly micaceous. For a similar pattern (but on an orange buff sherd) see Fig 50, no19 on page 140 in "Roman and Belgic Pottery from excavations in Milton Keynes 1972-82" by P.T. Marney [https://archaeologydataservice.ac.uk/library/browse/details.xhtml?recordId=3257382]
