Baker, Bevans and Irwin, Glamorgan Pottery (1813-1839)
Saucer, earthenware, circular shape with rounded foot-rim and curving spreading sides; transfer-printed in blue with to the centre of the well a small scene showing three oriental figures in a garden setting with a tree composed of scrolls, leaves and flowers to one side and an urn in the distance, the scene enclosed within a circular serrated border, wide border to the sides of the well of elaborate scrolls and flower heads issuing delicate foliage, narrow border to the outer rim of small flower heads on a blue ground.
