Entrance to Cwrt Sart Pill, viewed from south south west. In left background is the river depth gauge pole seen in (2018.162/10-11). Between the pill and the pole is the entrance to the unfinished navigable cut of the 1880s through which the River Neath was to have been diverted to enable the meander of the river to be turned into Neath Tidal Harbour. Inscription on reverse.
