Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
The ovolo is double bordered and tapered, with a thin plain tongue. The decoration consists of large medallions containing plant motifs, including bunches of grapes, and birds, alternating with panels. A somewhat similar layout is illustrated by Knorr 1952, Taf. 70, F, attributed to Calvus. The birds are O.2286 and (probably) O.2226, while the bunches of grapes occur on Knorr 1919, Taf 97, B. The vessel belongs to the range of style used by Masclus and Modestus, but the ovolo, which looks very early, does not appear to be recorded for them.
Dr 30 is an approximately cylindrical decorated bowl (vase)
