‘Algerine’ class minesweeper (J.449) built by Port Arthur Shipbuilding Co., Port Arthur, Ontario, Canada, and driven by two steam turbine engines. Commissioned May 1945. She carried a crew of between 104 and 135. Withdrawn on 19 November 1957 and subsequently broken up at Plymouth.
