Cup, hard-paste porcelain, standing on a short cylindrical foot-rim, rounded curvng sides, double intertwined handle with spreading leaves at the terminals; to the front of the exterior body an oval panel finely painted in black monochrome against a faint yellow ground with a landscape showing a church and a windmill, the panel enclosed by a gilt band entwined by a polychrome ribbon-tied floral garland, scattered polychrome floral sprigs to the rest of the exterior body and to the interior bottom of the bowl, a gilt dentil edge to the exterior lip-rim, the handle picked out in gilt. The body around the top of the handle cracked and repaired. Saucer, hard-paste porcelain, circular shape with short cylindrical foot-rim and curving sides; to the centre of the well a round panel finely painted in black monochrome with a riverside landscape showing figures and barrels, the panel enclosed by a gilt band entwined by a polychrome ribbon-tied floral garland, scattered polychrome floral sprigs around the sides of the well, a gilt dentil edge to the lip-rim.
