(4876gt) : Built 1927 by Wm. Gray & Co., West Hartlepool (with triple expansion engine by Central Marine Engineering Works, Hartlepool), for Ropner Shipping Co. Ltd. (Pool Shipping), West Hartlepool. She was shelled and sunk by the German cruiser ADMIRAL HIPPER on the 12th February 1941, east of the Azores while en route from Alexandria to Oban with a cargo of meat, cotton seed and oil cake.
