Cloth doll. Wooden head covered with cloth, with stiched features and hair, on a stuffed cloth body and limbs, square hands with stiched fingers. Wearing baggy (white) thick cotton trousers gathered at the waist with string, short (white) shirt with coarse (white) waistcoat decorated with (pale blue) stiching at neckline and hem. Over this a (pink - faded) silk jacket with (blue) feather stiching, puffed sleeves, net border and ribbon binding to top of arms. Pointed (white) silk cap on head, (blue) head band, the silk gathered and hanging down at back over a broad (pale blue) satin ribbon. (Black) cloth slippers sewn to feet. North African costume.
