Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
The front and back of this pocket are made of plain weave linen. The front is patched with a twill weave cloth. The opening is edged and reinforced at the lower end. There are many repairs, some staining and signs of wear. There is a museum number visible on the back top. This pocket belongs to a group of five pockets from the same donor (59.285.6-9 & 59.245.30). They have several features in common, such as construction methods and some materials, signs of heavy wear and extensive repair often using the same methods.
