ss. TRIPORT (7130gt) : “Victory” type vessel built 1944 as FORT ASPIN by Prince Rupert Dry Dock & Shipyard, Prince Rupert, B.C. (engine by Allis-Chalmers Ltd., Montreal), managed for MoWT by T.Dunlop & Sons, London. 1946 – Sold to Triton Steamship Co., Montreal, and renamed TRIPORT. 1950 – Sold to Cia Maritima del Este, Panama, and renamed HERON. 1954 – Owned variously by Sociedad Armadora del Norte, and Compagnia Maritima de Navegacion Conval (both of Panama), and managed by V.N. Goulandris. 1960 – Renamed TINOS. Same owner, but registered at Andros, Greece. 1963 – Sold to Prosperity Navigation Corp., Monrovia, and renamed EVERGREEN. She was broken up at Kaohsiung in 1967.
