ss. CORRIENTES (2) (7058gt) : Refrigerated cargo ship built 1943 by Short Brothers Ltd., Sunderland (triple-exapansion steam engine by North East Marine Engine Co (1938) Ltd., Newcastle-upon-Tyne) as EMPIRE CROMER for MoWT managed by Blue Star Line. 1946 – Sold to Donaldson Line, Glasgow, and renamed CORRIENTES (2). 1954 – Sold to Blue Star Line. She was intended to become OAKLAND STAR, but instead was sold on. 1955 – Sold to Williamson & Co Ltd., Hong Kong in the January, and renamed INCHMAY, managed by the Inch Line. 1966 – Sold to National Shipping Corporation of Pakistan, Karachi, and renamed KAUKHALI.
