Example of the work of John Jones (1869-1935), woodworker and quarryman. He was a renowned craftsman who won numerous prizes in local eisteddfodau for his woodwork. He specialised in making walking sticks, rural implements and lovespoons. He won at the National Eisteddfod in Caernarfon in 1935 with a set of four farm implements.
