Dress consisting of long, coat-style top/bodice and skirt; Bodice of green and yellow brocade; bracelet length sleeves; 36 velvet covered buttons; sleeves and bodice front is of green silk and velvet striped material; guipre lace collar; pillow lace cuffs; olive green striped silk and velvet skirt (short at front, long at back), at front, the striped fabric occurs only where it is not covered by the top - the covered area above is of a plain fabric. Skirt has bustle, with tapes to hold bustle in place and tie tapes to hold up the hem when walking; considerably remodelled. 1870s.
