Tea kettle
Tea kettle, tin-plate, oval in section with curving sides, raised gallery at the shoulder, curving spout triangular in section and stirrup-shaped moveable handle across the top; the exterior covered with a black japan and decorated with to either side sprays of flowers and foliage in red, white and gilt on greyish curved panels, gilt lines around the rest of the body and spout.
