Black bakelite telephone with separate handset (linked by silk wound flex originally); three chrome 'buttons' on top of main unit: two under handset and third to front, top of unit to call exchange, chrome dial with numbers and letters; 'phone is believed to date to 1930s but handset may have been replaced later (1954?), but to original pattern.
