Early Medieval human remains
These are remains from the Inhumation Burial of an Older Middle Adult (33-45 years) who was probably Female. The remains are poorly preserved with around 50% remaining.
Her burial had traces of wood lying over it suggesting she was buried in a coffin. The burial is cut into with disarticulated remains from SK252. They weren't a multiple burial, it's more likely that remains from SK252 were disturbed and pushed into the grave fill of SK251.
She was buried in an extended supine position in a simple grave oriented Northwest-Southeast.
The burial is from Phase E: 606-873 AD
Her teeth has Calculus and her bones had evidence of Degenerative Joint Disease.
The burial is associated by proximity with SK252
