Haynes, Dillwyn & Co., Cambrian Pottery (1802 - 1810)
Jug, dark brown earthenware, thrown, footring, globular form, cylindrical neck with slightly raised spout, plain handle grooved either side and with residual thumbpiece, jug interior coated in cream slip and glazed, exterior printed in yellow with the carnation pattern; complex lacy border around the neck formed of a rice ground with fans and edged with pendant trefoils, floweres and circles, border repeated inside rim.
