Early Medieval human remains
These are the poorly preserved remains of an inhumation burial of an older child (9.5-14.5 years).
The burial is Unphased but associated with the Early Medieval cemetery. They were buried in an extended supine position in a simple grave oriented West-East.
The individual had calculus, an indicator of poor oral hygeine and dental enamel hypoplasia which are marks on a tooth caused by interrupted growth during childhood and an indicate a period of poor health, stress, or malnutrition during childhood.
