A base sherd of a Lezoux ware samian cup of form Dr33. The sherd has been squared off as a possible lid. Orange ware with a glossy orange slip. The stamp reads SCOPLI MA which is the stamp of the potter Scoplus of Lezoux.
Likely to date from AD 160- 190.
