A fine leaf-shaped arrowhead of slightly elongated form. The dorsal surface is domed and there is extensive pressure flaking across this, some of the small flakes having hinged close to what has become a dome. The ventral surface is also extensively pressure flaked across its surface and the bulb of percussion is also evident. The tip of the arrowhead is absent. The arrhead is heavily patinated white and there is some rust staining on the dorsal surface.
Flint leaf-shaped arrowhead, 4000-3000 BCE. From Howick, south-east Wales. Pieces of bone or antler were used to press thin flakes from the edge of a piece of flint.
