S.S. FORT MAUREPAS (7133gt). North Sands type vessel built 1942 by West Coast Shipbuilders Ltd., Vancouver, for MoWT (managed by J & C Harrison Ltd) London. 1947 - Returned to the U.S, Maritime Commission. 1948 - Sold to "Corrado" Soc di Nav, Genoa, Italy, and renamed ROSA CORRADO. 1964 - Sold to Sicularma Soc di Nav per Azioni, Palermo, and renamed TINDARI. She was broken up at Vado Ligure, Italy in 1965.
