Post-Medieval silver dagger chape

Small silver dagger chap made of thin sheet metal, with a small know finial. The front and back faces are flat and decorated with finely engraved triangular panels of floral/vegetal scroll motifs, within a double border. The edges have narrow panels of diagonally banded decoration. The top edge of the chape is cut with a repeating pattern of stepped (trilobite) cusps.
