Bottle, with elongated neck, surmounted by a flower shaped cup form, of stone-paste, standing on a wide, tapering foot rim, globular body, elongated, tapering neck, cordoned as a conventional bottle neck with rounded rib at the top, surmounted by a cup form of six panels, rising to an undulating six lobed lip rim, giving the appearence of a tulip-type flower head, narrow aperture to central well adjoining the neck; a thin, alkaline turquoise glaze covering most of the body, the lower body and foot rim unglazed, the upper body moulded with stylised birds in relief, surrounded and surmounted by moulded relief scrolls and crescents rising in bands to the neck; the neck with a brighter blue effect to the glaze, especially to the cordoned areas, the cup, with a much thinner and worn pale turquoise glaze to the exterior and interior, the stone-paste body visible through the glaze and the possible remnants of a creamy slip in a band around the upper lip.
