Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
A Mark 1 (originally designated HAS Mk 1 and later converted for the air-sea rescue role). Number XM300. Virtually all of the original internal equipment had been removed by the time of its acquisition, along with the main rotor blades. The Napier Gazelle engine is accessed via hatch on right side. A number of small plaque stating Drawing No. WB5 - 10 - 352 & Serial no WAR/WA.F.5.
Built in Yeovil for operational services but ended its days at the Apprentice Training School, Farnborough. It was acquired and displayed at the Wales Aircraft Museum at Cardiff-Wales Airport (from 1984).
