'Gulp' was the first full length play by Welsh playwright Roger Williams (born 1974 in Newport), whose work (amongst other things) looked at the Cardiff gay scene. Gulp is considered to be Cardiff’s first professionally produced out gay play, with The Guardian describing it as “A cultural milestone” in Wales.
