¾ Port stern view of S.S. FRISCO, c.1936. Most likely this photograph shows the vessel in the funnel colours of A/S Frank, as the Olsen & Ugelstad companies had a quite different funnel.
S.S. FRISCO (870 Grt.). Built in 1927 for A/S Frank (Chr. J. Reim mgr.), of Porsgrunn, Norway, by Porsgrund M/V, Porsgrunn (yard no.9). In 1930, the ship was sold without change of name to A/S Valberg (Olsen & Ugelstad mgrs.), Oslo. In 1935 the ship was transferred to A/S Filefjell (same managers). In 1936, the ship hoisted the Red Duster when she was acquired by 'Toft' SS. Co. Ltd. (T.H. Donking & Sons Ltd. mgrs), of Middlesbrough. On 3 December 1939 she was lost during a voyage from Goole to Calais.
