Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
A zoomorphic leg/foot from copper-alloy vessel, probably an aquamanile in the shape of a lion. Similar to late 13th century examples in Edinburgh, Munich and Prague. An alternative interpretation is that it is a zoomorphic leg from a candlestick. Possibly repaired with a small copper alloy lug or plate fitted into the top of the leg.
