Figure mainly white and gilt, but with only traces of gilding remaining, in military uniform of white boots, spurs, breeches, buttoned jacket with a high collar, tasselled helmet (?) under left arm, pink face and hands, brown hair and moustache, peaked cap; mounted turning to face viewer with right hand resing behind saddle and with left hand bent across body over helmet; horse stepping with left front leg raised, traces of gilding on mane and on long full tail, supported on a green brown base, two clumps extruded grass.
