Beaker and saucer, hard-paste porcalain, beaker standing on a foot rim, flared sides and everted lip; decorated in polychrome enamels and gilt with two scenes, one of a chinoserie figure holding a fan, plant behind, table to right, the other of a chinoiserie figure holding a plate, plant behind, bird in sky, both within gilt and purple lustre cartouches, surrounded by iron-red, purple and green scrolling, gilt border to rim and lip, ornamental gilt border to inner lip. Saucer standing on a foot rim, speading sides, everted lip; decorated in polychrome enamels and gilt with a chinoiserie figure seated by the side of a table, screen and flowers on a tall stand behind, within a gilt and purple lustre cartouche, surrounded by polychrome scrolling, ornamental gilt border to lip, three iron-red concentric lines to underside.
