One of four early 16th century turned posts belonging to Sir Rhys ap Thomas bedstead, profusely carved with heraldic moulds surrounded by decorative patterns including: various Tudor rose motifs, a bearded face (possibly that of Sir Rhys) and two ravens (the motto of Sir Rhys); back surface of post has been left uncarved; joined to the top of the post is a decorative turned surmount of a lighter coloured wood with carved leaves and at the bottom of the post is added a corner cornice and heavy square section leg and foot with some motif carvings, all probably late 19th century additions.
