A round sandstone pebble.
A rounded pebble-shaped sandstone stone recovered during archaeological excavations at a Bronze Age tumulus at Morfa Bychan near Pendine, Carmarthenshire. The stone was recovered from the southern chamber of the tumulus along with an assemblage of lithic implements. The stone is 'bruised' on one end and was suggested by excavators to be a hammer stone (Ward 1918: 71).
