white cotton pocket with tapes to attach to belt.
The front, lower front lining and back of this pocket are each made of one piece of plain weave cotton. A band at the top is made of the same cotton. It forms part of the ties which are extended with tape. The lower back is lined with heavier twill cotton. The wide opening has been repaired, and there are stains and damage on the front and back. The hand stitching is roughly done. [Desciption by Barbara Burman: Pockets of History Project]
