Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Coffee pot, soft-paste porcelain, tapering foot-rim, pear-shaped body with cylindrical neck, narrow curving handle, scrolled loop handle with raised thumb-spur, slightly domed cover with flat collar-like rim, a flower head finial to the centre of the cover issuing a moulded stalk and leaves which spread across the top of the cover, a pierced steam hole to one side of the cover; painted in brilliant polychrome enamels with the 'Chinese Family' pattern over a black transfer-printed outline, to the sides of the body a scene showing a number of oriental figures, a black marbled bench with a vase containing flowers upon it and a high stand with a basin upon it, a similar scene but without the high stand to the cover, a vase issuing a spreading plant to the lower spout, a small stylized floral motif to the handle, an iron-red and gilt dentil border to the neck and the rim of the cover, red markings to the flower head finial, the moulded stalk and leaves painted in green.
