Central column, cylindrical, standing on a stepped square base. A shallow rim at the top and a cylindrical socket, all in brass. Two scroll arms, each is surmounted by an urn shaped fluted socket and a detachable nozzel. A central arch bisects the arms and is surmounted by similar attachments. Both arms and the arch are fitted to a circular pan, which in turn fits into the socket of the central supporting column. Vermillion japan has been applied to all external surfaces, the cental socket to admit the arms has been japanned black. The central column decorated with three bands of silver and black circles, there are additional silver border patterns of wavy lines to the sockets and nozzles. Black japan to underside of base. Varnish with golden tinge throughout.
